How important is pagerank to you?

I think PageRank is not as important for your site, as it is for other sites linking to your site. If a highly ranked website is links to you. You get more credibility.

Gone were the days, when the importance of pagerank was a lot, i think it has declined now, only site with original content are ruling.

The chase for PR is no longer there, it has now moved to getting links from relevant sites that are in DMOZ and Yahoo directories.
